Here is what we had to say about the Cochituate Rail Trail, back when it was still only a dream...

Bringing Natick Together

The Cochituate Rail Trail will be a beautifully-designed and functional 2.5 mile Greenway connecting Natick's vibrant downtown with the Natick Mall and Golden Triangle, crossing Route 30 to connect to Framingham's already completed portion that ends in Saxonville Village. The CRT will be ideal for walkers, runners, bicyclists, cross-country skiers, wheelchair users, hikers and others who like the outdoors and use alternative ways to travel and commute. Rt 9 will no longer divide Natick in two, as it will be possible for many more residents to bike or walk to a movie at the AMC Cinema, travel to the State Park from Downtown, or see a show at TCAN downtown without getting in their car. The possibilities of uses for this transportation greenway are endless.

Businesses will benefit from increased access and exposure to customers without the overhead of parking. Employees will enjoy the overall health and well being of having such a scenic and safe greenway for commuting and daily exercise opportunities. The Cochituate Rail Trail presents a unique opportunity to our community to invest in our quality of life, at the same time enhancing the future vitality of our region.

Please support our mission to make this happen.
